Important Shipping Information!

Domestic Shipments

  • 10% sales tax applies to all California sales.
  • Shipping within the USA is offered by USPS Priority mail (~7 days) or by USPS Media mail (~12 days). Costs are constantly changing, and cannot be estimated until time of purchase.
  • Both types of shipping require signature delivery so please provide an appropriate address with someone available and aware they are to sign for the delivery.
  • If the fee you are charged and actual postage generated differ substantially, the difference will be refunded to your payment method.

International Shipments

  • International standard shipping rates different depending on destination country, carrier used, country specific import regulations and fees, which make it difficult to estimate.  Cost from the USA, can average ~$98USD, not including import or landing fees specific to your country. HRI will weigh the cost of shipment across three carriers once the order is received. If the shipping fee you are charged and actual postage generated differs substantially, the difference will be refunded to your payment method.
  • Due to regulations in the USA, all international shipments will be valued at the price listed on the invoice.
  • Please allow ~4 weeks for delivery from date of purchase. In some cases, if it has not been delivered within 4 weeks, check the tracking number at your local postal office or carrier. Often an international shipment will be held for pick-up if import fees are due, or if the delivery is too high in value for the carrier to deliver. Please be aware and respond to any communications from the carrier or customs.  Delay in responding will delay delivery.
  • PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR VAT, GSD, EORI OR OTHER IMPORT FEE NUMBERS TO INCLUDE ON YOUR WAYBILL. Your shipment may be subject to import fees that are your responsibility, as the buyer/importer. Without your VAT, GST, etc, numbers on the customs forms can cause a delay in delivery as much as 30 days or more. There are no USA Tariffs imposed on printed books (4901-99-0070 HTS) If you have a VAT, EORI, GSD, or other import number, PLEASE provide those numbers at time of purchase so that we may apply them to the customs documents. If you prefer to email them to us, enter the information on our questions page. Please reference the name and address of the purchase the numbers are to apply.
